Here's how we're celebrating.
Loads of cute baby pictures from the holidays to be found you know where, including the obligatory baby in a sink shot.

Things to Celebrate
This week we celebrated Thanksgiving. We also celebrated the fact that my brother and sister were able to spend the holiday with us, and that our friends were able to partake in a wonderful Thanksgiving dinner. Below is Eli rocking out in his new AC-DC outfit that his Uncle Jake brought him while being held by my friend Jamie.
We also celebrated two birthday's this week. Eli turned four weeks old yesterday, as did my beard. We are very happy with how much Eli has grown this last four weeks. Not sure the same can be said of my beard.

Yawn
Not a lot of pictures lately. This is because I don't like to take pictures of Elijah when he's crying and he cries ALL THE TIME.

What We Do
I've been asked for details. Honestly, there aren't many. Eli sleeps and poops and screams and that is about it. So far, most father-son bonding time is when we go for walks. We go to the coffee shop in the morning, or to the market in the afternoon to pick up something for lunch, or the liquor store in the evening to get a bottle of wine.

Here comes Junior ...
We're at the hospital, and hopefully we'll have a baby boy soon. Renee is doing fine; things are moving pretty slow so far.

New Toy
The videos we'll be taking with this are not likely to get any more interesting, but they should get cuter.

We're Ready!
Technically, we're ready for the baby to come. The nursery is finished, I've made it to my 37th week (baby's lungs are fully developed), and we have a car seat. This room used to be our junk room but I think it's much nicer as a nursery.
Of course I still have at least 3 books to read and a DVD to watch on how to feed the baby, make the baby go to sleep, get the baby to sleep through the night, keep the baby happy, etc... Oh well, I guess that's what the next few weeks are for!

Summer "07BB (before baby) Recap
Here are a few highlights from our last summer as just the 2 of us...
Here we are watching the sunset over Labor Day up at Crystal Mountain. This is always such a fun trip and one that we look forward to all year.
This is us on our first & last trip to CA (without the baby). We flew into San Francisco and then drove along the coast down through Santa Cruz, Big Sur & San Louis Obispo. This was the first real vacation we've taken since we moved back to DC. The weather was perfect and we had so much fun!
We ended the trip at our friends' Lewis & Tariffa's wedding.
It was the first time that we've seen some of Jonathan's law school friends since they graduated.

It's Raining Baby Goodies!
A few weekends ago our friends Helena & Maureen threw us a fantastic baby shower. Lots of yummy food and good friends.
Nothing says baby shower like 2 TVs so everyone can watch both the UofM and MSU football games.
It was so nice to see everyone.
Thanks for all of the great baby goodies!

24 days and counting
Welcome to the first posting on the And Baby Makes 3 blog. I figured this would be a nice way for family and friends to keep up to date as our family grows. So far I'm still pregnant and feeling pretty good. Having some heartburn and swollen feet issues but all in all feeling fine.
